My mother’s side of the family has been involved in the wine world for more than a century. My grandparents, Andrés and Andresa, bought a house with vineyards in Puente la Reina, (a precious town located right in the middle of the Camino de Santiago, a popular European pilgrimage trail that crosses Northern Spain) where they sold the fruit of their labor to the town’s wine cooperative.
From the many stories they used to tell us a pool of knowledge was created. Years later we built a winery whose vineyards rest not very far from my grandparent’s native town.
After studying law and an MBA I lived for a short time in London after which I moved back to Spain to work in the family winery in sales and marketing. All of these accumulated experiences led my husband and I to launch this project together with our friend and excellent winemaker Pilar.
